All the 11 beneficiaries of the MAFEELDA scholarship received a two day workshop on 5-6 June 2020. The purpose of the workshop was to prepare them for life generally and for success in school. Topics discussed included:
- Purpose Driven Life. They were first assigned a book titled “Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren, which they read for 40 days before the workshop. We provided copies for the 11 of them.
- How to Achieve Academic Excellence.
- Major Obstacles to Success in School and How to Overcome them.
- Balancing your Spiritual, Social, and Academic Life.
- Aligning your Education and Career to your Calling.
The ministry selected 10 more young people and added to the 11 so they too may benefit from the workshop.
